The Power Section is managed by a Power Committee which is elected by the Power members once a year for a duration of one year at the Power Annual General Meeting. The head of the Power Committee is called a Flag Officer and is the Rear Commodore Power. The Rear Commodore Power together with the Power Representative from the Power Committee represent the Power Section on the Management Committee. The Power Committee consists of one or more representatives from Tournament skiing, Wakeboarding, Ski Clinic and members that fulfill various functions such as Entertainment representative, Boat Park Manager and Secretary. The Power Committee wishes you a wonderful Power Water sport experience at MAC and may your membership be a long and enjoyable one. Wake Boarding Section
This is a relatively new section which is growing at a phenomenal rate due to the sudden popularity of the sport. The wake boarder is pulled by either an inboard or out board power boat which has a high stainless steel structure where the ski rope is attached. The boat is also loaded with ballast and is low in the water so that it creates a bigger wake for the wake boarder to jump over. The wake boarders perform numerous tricks such as reverse turns , somersaults and various types of jumps. Milnerton Aquatic Club has hosted many Wake Boarding Competitions where not only MAC members take part but also Provincial and National competitors. The competitions are normally held at the ski lane by the island. These competitions are normally well attended and great fun.

The Tournament Ski Section
This section is further split into the following disciplines namely Slalom Skiing, Trick skiing and Ramp Jumping. We have a very active section which takes part in many Provincial, National and International Competitions with many of our members holding Provincial and National Colours. This section has it's own Slalom Course. Western Province League Competitions are regularly held at the Slalom Course when the vlei is closed to the public water sport and boating. Competitions normally take place on a Sunday starting at 07h30 and finishing around about 13h00 and are great to watch so why not come along. Competition Power boats such as Ski Natique's and Master Craft with 5.7 litre inboard engines tow the skier through the course at fixed speeds. The Tournament Ski Section also provides training for those who can slalom Ski and which to compete in competitions.
