MAC ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING
The MAC Annual Prize Giving was held in the afternoon of the 31st of May & was well attended. The Prize giving honours the participants from all sections of the club, namely, Power, Sail & Windsurfing. The Prize Giving started with Ross Cowing our MAC Commodore giving his usual Closing Season speech, not that MAC ever closes and we have events all year long whatever the season. It is for this reason that MAC has produced some of the top sailors whereas most other clubs do not sail during Winter time. Congratulations to all the winners.....

Paddle Event at Muizenberg
Attention Paddlers
Peninsula Paddlers are organizing their 5th Paddle event at Muizenberg on Sunday 8th June 2014. See one page brochure on the link below
The paddle is getting even more interest this year. Braam Malherbe will be our celebrity paddler and hopes to do a 50/50 documentary presentation on SABC TV. In addition, the WRC executive management are coming down to join the paddle and will be launching their programme on Urban River Renewal in the afternoon. It is possible that the Minister of Water Affairs will be invited to this event. All in all, the interest is growing and we are setting the platform to take this simple concept to other cities in SA - great start from Cape Town.
